Why is the body color roof constantly on constraint since the C7 was introduced ? There does not appear to be any problems getting enough body color hoods to meet production needs so why is there a problem with the roof panels ?

I was notified yesterday of the constraint on the STD car color roof panel for my order. I opted to change to the visible carbon fiber and my dealer said order was accepted. There must be a temporary shortage of roof panels for all available color options.

Temporary??? Its been on constraint for 2 years.

It appears you have more knowledge on this subject than what I could find on the forums.
My personal knowledge comes from my limited experience after placing my 2016 order. I think the visible carbon fiber is striking and I am more than happy with that change.
