Car and Driver, Lightning Lap 2015

The simply excellent results of the recent Car and Driver Lightning Lap test have done both the engineering team and owner base proud. Job very well done. Curious though, in that issue, editor Ezra Dyer mentioned that at some point the Z06 in the test was laid up due to an off-track excursion. Any idea what happened and how bad was it?
In addition, given the stellar performance of the Z06, what can we expect from the upcoming Motor Trend Best Driver's Car test. Saw some advance commentary from Randy Pobst that was less than encouraging.
