Default Corvette models?

Tadge,

I'm sure you have better things to do, but some in the forum including myself can't seem to agree on if all C7's are Stingrays or if they are indeed different models all together. I'm not sure if this has been asked here before and if so please point me to the answer.

Some believe they are all Stingrays as in Corvette Stingray Z06, Corvette Stingray Grand Sport and Corvette Stingray.

Some believe there is 1 Stingray, as in the Corvette Stingray and the others are indeed different models as in Corvette Grand Sport and Corvette Z06.

I believe it's been pointed out even GM and/or dealers don't seem to present the cars properly either as some say they are different models and others say they are all Stingrays.

I will point out, my window sticker says Corvette Z06, not Corvette Stingray Z06.

Others will still say it's all marketing, but what do you say?

Here is a link to the thread.

Thanks!
