He was asked that today at the bash:
Q: Will 100 octane tune be made available for the Stingray and Grand Sport as well as Z06?
A: No plans to do so and not really necessary.

My guess on the statement is that he feels the tube would not benefit the car performance whereas on the Z06 with the supercharger it may have specifically helped it. Of course that is totally a guess :-).
