Loud turn signal indicator

Is there any way to turn the sound of turn signal down? They are quite loud

What? Corvettes are built for us old guys. Don't make me wear my hearing aid while driving. It makes me look OLDER!

Yes is the answer. Here is a post from a member on the same topic from the General Discussion Section.

"Or adjust the volume level of the blinkers. It is adjustable, yet even at lowest setting it is still audible! But, better than at full volume!!

Using the Driver Information Center Controls (DIC) on steering wheel, scroll to "Comfort and Convenience" then select "Chime Volume". Set at lowest setting and see if that helps.

Page 118 of owners manual -

Chime Volume.
This setting determines the chime volume level.
Touch the controls on the infotainment system to adjust the volume."

It only allows you to lower the volume 1/2 way for some reason.. any reason for that?
