Need Audio/Video installation help
I received a Sony DVD/VCR combo and I'm trying to hook it up to my Yamaha receiver. I've got the DVD working, but I can't get the VCR working. I'm running A/V cables (red, white, yellow) out of the VCR and into the receiver. I thought this is all it would take, but I'm not getting a signal. Any suggestions.
Thanks

I don't think so. Do I need a/v cables going out of the receiver into the VCR? I thought I would only need cables going out of VCR and into the receiver.

check out the instructions, you might just has to set it to a diffrent setting, could just be button work from now on out.

Does you're receiver make you assign the inputs? If so then you need to tell the recevier which input you are trying to use for the VCR.

i hooked one of these a few weeks ago you have to switch from dvd/vcr on the combo unit and they also have separate outputs that have to be connected.
