Bose adapter
Has anyone used the adapter to hook up a non-bose sterio to an 85 Vette? I want to put a new CD unit in mine but I don't want to spend a lot of money. I was thinking of getting one of those RF Modulated CD changers but my existing unit only has front to rear balance, no left to right balance. I don't want to replace all of the speakers if possible,

ugh... I hate the adaptors. They create more noise then music, and the SQ from the bose speakers really falls apart.
You can get good speakers on the cheap... Check Infinity or Polk Audio.
Alpine makes some nice heads in the 250~300 range.
