I just added a Viper Alarm to my 04 Automatic Coupe.
The auto start function isn't working properly. When it does work (rarely) it has a very long delay, and then taps the starter. Not enough to turn the engine over but enough to engage the starter (Very short). A few seconds later 10-15, it try’s again some times it starts.
It takes at least two attemps to start it, an about 45-50 seconds before it responds.
Any suggestions on calibrating this or correcting the delay?
Any experienced help would be appreciated.
Thanks,
Tim
Make sure that it is programmed correctly. I have seen some of the brains go bad right out of the box. I would take it back to whom ever did it, or if you did it yourself then call Vipers Tech support.
