ipod2car - anyone here using it in a C5?

i am using it and while i love having my ipod in the car and powered, it does not work that well. i seemed to work great at first, but after more use it often does weird crap, mostly when using the track forward/back buttons on the head unit. it will either pause the track or send the ipod back to the main menu. kind of pisses me off, but it's still the only good relatively low cost option.
as for the install, it's easy and takes ~1 hour.

Im using it in my 2004 C5 vert. So far works great I had it installed also in my Jeep Grand Cherokee and it has been working fine until today. It Locked up my Ipod in the Jeep. I dont know why but I couldnt manually reboot the Ipod. I had to plug it into my computer to fix it. I couldnt change albums on it. Im not sure what caused it but as long as its fixable who cares. I love having it in the car. It sounds great too. I had a local Car audio place install it. They talked to Perripheral and found out what they needed to make it work properly. All I know is it was 3 pcs. Another adapter cable of some kind and a ground isolator or something. But so far. I have control over volume and track up and down from the radio. The rest is best left to handle on the Ipod. I had it mounted with extra cable in my center console so I can grab it and change easily while driving. And by the way this is working with the original head unit.

I have it in my 2000 Coupe and enjoy it. I did have the same problem OrionVettes had with it locking up and having to connect it back to a computer to change albums. Also with the track buttons through the headunit kind of sucks. It does not go backwards on the playlist too well. It usually results in me having to push the back button 3 times to get the previous track.
For the cost i think its worth it, sure beats the 12 disc changer.
