Default C6 Convertible system decision I have made

Ok I finally made my mind up. Going with the Kenwood DDX-7015 headunit along with the 4100 navigation and Sirius satellite radio antenna mounted under the rear bumper out of site. Jl Audio amps 500/1 for the rear JL 8W7 subs and the 450/4 for the doors and rear MB Quart Q line plus the music keg. Its a very close set-up to what I had in my F-150 Harley truck with some minor changes (biggest seing the head unit) going to set up an appointment for the week of the 21st any opinions? Thanks Chad

Sounds like quite a setup. Where are you putting the subs and the amps?

looks like you are gonna have one nice system.

as far as opinions, i personally wasn't all that impressed with my quarts that i had about 6 years ago, i would go with cdt or boston acoustics or maybe a nice set of 3 way jl-audio components.

post pics when you're done

Are you putting one or two 8W7 subs? I have two in my 98 convertible each in a .875cu.ft enclosure with 300WRMS per subwoofer.

My opinion on those is that, with the right power going to them and proper enclosure, they are as bad-*** of an 8" sub as you can find.

Ok we are going with 2 JL8W7's. They will be mounted in the two rear corners of the trunk. The amps will be mounted flush down the center with plexiglass layed over. We are going to make it look like the dash with the silver outside and black down the center. I have always enjoyed MB Quart but the Q line is night and day better than anything else I have heard. Bostons sound good as well I just like the MB Quarts.
