Yes, that is some good advice, the tank is about 3" or so from the back wall. I did mine with the body on a dolly.

Depends on your bucks. I think the $10 plate looks good, compared to $250.

If it is not stock, it's not stock. Repo bezels are on ebay for $77 all day, buy one and cut it if you want to save the original.

I'm thinking you couldn't do the door speakers with deluxe door panels.
