Thats the picture of the unit installed in my Z06 right now. Im going to be replacing it with a new Eclipse unit in about 2weeks.

This unit has been installed for about 4months and practically new. There is no scratched on the screen or trim anywhere. I will be selling it with BRAND NEW wires and GPS antenna and all the wires it came with. I dont feel like removing the wires from my car, instead I will just be including brand new wires. It will come with the NAV dvd issued with it.

This unit has TWO slots behind the screen which folds down when needed. Top slot is for CD/MP3, bottom slot is NAV/DVD. The navigation unit is by far one of the best, I also own a 2003 Lexus LS430 and it has the identical Navigation software, later I found out Lexus uses Eclipse nav units.

The unit still has 2.5 or so years remaining on the warranty. This unit cost $2600 when I got it. Dont be fooled by anyone selling new units on eBay and online for less than $2000, they are not authorized dealers and will not have ANY warranty. Eclipse DOES NOT ALLOW any of their products to be sold online. Ask any Eclipse dealer and he will tell you the rules of eclipse if you dont believe me.

Remember this is a double din unit, that means its basically like taking two single din units and putting them ontop of each other. This will in the C5s with some modification to the dash trim, but thats easily done as I show in the picture. Not to mention wont block the center ACvents that the flip out units do.

Im looking for $1600 plus shipping for this unit, If you want it, hit me up via email and I will make this deal happen. There may be one stipulation that you may have to wait till April 5th or so to get it because Im waiting for the new Unit to come in to include the new wires.

why selling? what does the new eclipse unit do/have that this one does not?

 

New unit being released comes with a 30gig Internal Hard drive with 20gigs for MP3s and 10 already preloaded with Nav.

Wow - that looks great. Who did the install? How difficult was it?

 

I did the install myself, it didnt take very long, just tedious cause I had to remold the dash trim to fill the side gaps since the GM headunits are longer in width by 1.5"

New Eclipse unit also costs less than the model it replaces for some reason, ordered 1 myself.
