Where to install front laser diffusers?
I'm putting this on a C6 but anyone can aswer this question.
Does the diffuser need to be flush mounted with the leading edge of the car or can it sit back a little, maybe up to an inch behind the leading edge?
On the C6 without a front plate, I figure the best place to hit the car with radar is to aim for the front lights? So, I plan to mount the two diffusers wide in the front grill opening near each headlight.
Any suggestions?

sounds like you are heading down the right path. The C5 will be extremely hard to get with a laser, even with a shot at the head lights.
No flat surfaces to reflect back a signal, it even helps a tad with radar.
I think you'll be fine with your idea.
