100 amps?

So the one you bought came without a wiring harness at all? Otherwise, you'll have to go thru Southern Audio Services (bazooka) for the harness.

If you don't mind the stigma of having a Bazooka the CS8A5 should be perfect for you

If you can't find the harness on the site just post in their forum

http://www.sasbazooka.com/forum/default.asp

You will probably get a response within 24 hours

Stigma? Its not like its the NOS version Bazooka may sell crap raw speaker drivers, but that company was built on those little tubes. I mean, come on, when someone says "hey, what you got for a sub?" and you reply, "bazooka" ... just about everyone knows what you're bumpn' without explanation. not that they are gods gift to the audio world, but its at least one of the few products that have been reliable and realitively unchanged for years - very simple design. And surprisingly very little bling (if you ignore the NOS bottle ones )

Im sure some advertising exec lost their job over that one.

ok, that was my bazooka rant.

OK Dan, time for

In case you forgot, it was less than two months ago that your posts convinced me to get a Bazooka for my C5. I started with the CS8A5, but then discovered that the bass signal wasn't present at the twiddlers in C5's.... sound familiar yet? Anyway, I now have a BTA6100 fed by the door woofers and it sounds great I'm also half way done installing a 4x25w amp that I would have never even considered if it wasn't for the sound of the CS8A5 making me want it.

The only reason I used the word stigma is because I get the exact same reaction every time I tell someone what I have. A few days ago I ran into an audio-savy friend and asked him to tell me what he thinks of my latest mod. Without telling him what it was I invited him into the car and cranked up the stock HU. He was amazed at the bass considering he couldn't see anything remotely resembling a sub in the car, and complimented how good it sounded. I told him I had a 100w 6" Bazooka in the covered rear center tub. He immediately changed his tune to "Why the he!! didn't you get a real sub! Those things were the **** back in high school, but not now." I told him I was more than happy with the sound it produces and that I'd stick with the comments he made before he knew where the bass was coming from.

Heh, you could of told them it was a new super expensive JL tube car subwoofer, and he would of thought you were mega cool. Glad to see it worked out for ya.
