94 cpe upgrade
I,m thinking of taking my 94 cpe w/ the stock non-bose system in to a local stereo shop to get a new cd/receiver put in. I have talked w/ him and he says no problem. (he has done work on some of my other cars before) Not sure if he has done a 94 vette before. Any warnings for him? Do I have to worry about any error codes popping up later...Shoud the stock receive be left in behind the seat? Thanks in advance for any info.....

simply bypass the reciever - ie, unplug it.
As for tricks? there might be a SYS code. check my C4 Audio FAQ for the link to the TSB for that problem. It may or may not happen to you car... just fair warning.
If they are a good shop, this should not be a problem.
