I ran across this image while I was looking for logos for my webpage, ive never had a real urge to wonder whats in the C6's audio wise, but this is horrible if this is standard.
Id of thought by now bose would of caught a hint from the countless years their OEM stuff was being replaced. But I guess not.
Maybe im wrong, like I said, I havent bothered to research the C6 much, since I know i'll never afford one.
Yup, that's the standard C6 radio.....fancy looking huh?
Thats pretty embarasing when a $150 Sony head unit from Walmart looks better than a stock system in a 40k vette. Hell, even the late C4 head units were better looking Bose must have a tight contract with GM to be able to get away with that crap. Scott is right, thats a very oddly placed cd player apratiure.
Werid.... You'd think with the amount of bad mouthing bose gets, they would do something about it after all these years. Oh well, its going to keep car audio installers in business.

Actually, that is the Delco HU, not a Blose design.
The reason it looks so plain is because that is the latest car interior fad all the auto makers are using. Don't ask me why, it just...is.
And oddly enough, it isn't a bad HU either. I know, strange for stock Delco but it has a 6-disk changer built into the HU along with MP3 and XM compatable. The speakers however, sucketh.
If you wanted, you could slam some aftermarket amps and drivers on that Delco and actually have a decent system.

Oh I realize that. Its just that id think that a newer model would have some sort of better looking form, function, AND style.... That thing looks like a stock 1995 honda head unit.
I guess I just found it slightly amusing. Im sure it works perfectly fine, its just butt ugly.

Yeah, they went all out on the bling.
I guess the auto makers think minimalism = contemporary design.
