Balancing problems on aftermarket stereo.
Having some balancing problems on my stereo. I have a Pioneer head unit and an Eclipse 4 channel amp and am using all the RCA wires for output between the head unit and amp. When I balance the audio to all front and left, I get audio out of the front and left speakers. When the balance goes all front/right, I get no audio. All the wiring looks good from the amp to the speaker, but I'm guessing that's where the problem is.

First move the RCA from the left over to the right. If you then get sound in the right speaker you have a RCA problem. Trace that back to the source unit. IF you do not have sound then you have a speaker to amp problem. Disconnect a known working speaker and connect it to the front right speaker output on the amp. If that works,trace the wire back to the speaker. If that does not work you have a bad channel on your amp.Should not be a big deal. Hopefully it is just a loose or unplugged connection and not a bad speaker or amp channel.
