I'm just about to start my red Eagle Talon TsiAWD prodject. The battery (or batteries) will be mounted in back to be close to the amps and better weight balance.
My question is....what type of battery is the best? I've used Optimas for over 10 years and currently have them in 3 of four vehicles. Has anyone had experience with these BatCaps? (or any great battery)
The BatCaps claim they are light and have the discharge equal to 800 Farads????? http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&rd=1&item=7974769 477&category=38636&sspagename=WDVW
All opinions welcome, even scottfx's opinion
i would be willing to try them out for you. Actually; i will purchase a bunch of them for any one who wants to try them. I just need you to send me your cc # again and i'll order them up.
(you're not upset that i thought your sub box was made by q-logic are you? )
A batcap is literally a glorified Carbon type capacitor. YOu do not want that to start you car. Take a look at the STinger batteries. You can get a tiny SP800 battery that will keep your weight down, be sealed, and have more power than any optima or batcap.
