Iam thinking of buying the PAC- AOEM-VET1 but is unsure about a few things, from my understanding i can exchange my Bose stereo with a better aftermarket stero of my choice and use the stock speakers and amp. so far so good. My question is the 3,5" door speakers and the 5,25" rear speakers was powered by my old Bose will the new aftermarket stereo fix this through PAC AOEM-VET1 or do i have to make some specail fix to get this to work ?
The AOEM kit is designed to add an aftermarket amp to your stock HU. If you want to change out the HU and keep the stock amps/speakers you would need the ROEM kit.
Either way, changing out the stock paper speakers might not hurt either.
Thanx for the info so if i buy the ROEM it will fix the powering with the front and rear 3,5" and 5,25" speakers without adding a amp. ?
I will change the orginal speakers for infinty fronat and rear and start by adding a BASSLINKT which is an active subbox with 3 10" woofers which fit right in the shelf behind the seats if you have a Z06 with a partion :-).

Other than the disclaimer next to the roem-vet1 listed in the original link I posted, I really don't know much about it other than it is what you're looking for if you want to change out the HU but keep the stock amps. See if you can find a manual for it online, or try posting a new thread with a title something like "Question about ROEM-Vet1".
