Cassette Jammed/ Now WON'T PLAY??

Cassette Jammed/ Now WON'T PLAY??
Cassette tape got STUCK and WOULDN'T EJECT. After forcing tape out,
the mechanism ceased to "seat" the tape. When buttons are pressed,
player "clicks" but nothing happens. It is the stock unit in the '94
6 SPD. Is removing DASH difficult if tape machine has to be replaced/
worked on? Any help / advice would be helpful. I NEED MY MUSIC YOU ALL!

or maybe everyone else's still work, they just stopped listening to tapes like 10 years ago
