C5 door speaker replacement

C5 door speaker replacement
I'm considering Rockford Fosgate Punch P162S speakers. Anybody using them? Crutchfield says that they are a direct replacement for the factory speakers. I'm just doing the doors and a subwoofer right now, keeping the Bose HU until I decide what I want to go with there.

The door panel consists of 3.5" speakers and a bose sub mounted unerneath. The speakers you have listed are not a direct fit, you would need to construct a special mounting plate (or buy one from forum member vroom vroom), and at the same time get rid of the bose subwoofers in the doors. By doing this you will lose a lot of the deeper sound that the subs used to produce.
