interference from the Amp?

interference from the Amp?
when im tuned to the AM side of the dial(usually sports talk) i am getting a variable pitch from high to low almost like a whistle or whining,dosn't happen all the time or even on every AM station.
Im suspecting the Amp that i have installed in the rear compartment.
The wiring is run seperatly, power wire to the Amp was run under the pass rocker mldg, and the RCA and Amp turn on wire were run down the middle along the tranny tunnel to the HU. the factory antenna is built into the rear window correct? could that be picking up the Amp's elec field and passing it through my sys?

Eatrice, yea it only occurs with the AM, but it never happened until i installed my system, and the farther i drive away from the AM signal source it gets worse leading me to believe that there is some type of elec field from the amp that overpowers the radio as the AM signal gets weaker. I don't know it's a wierd one
