Now my amp died, CRAP

The plague is spreading from Bogus
. My JBL 1200.1 in my vette died yesterday. I'm not sure what happen. I was at a car show, had my strobes on all day and the stereo for a little bit when the stereo shut down on it's own
I figured I had low voltage, indeed I did because the car would not start. I got a jump (it was jumped correctly) and the stereo came on, no subs though
Within seconds I smell that electronic burning smell. CHIT
So far, everything else checks out okay. I will replace the amp with a spare 1200.1 but what PITA it is getting the fiberglass out
I wonder, was it the low voltage or the jump that took it out?I week ago, I blew up my final Pyle 12" sub in my S-15 Jimmy 4X4. It was WAY overdue. The cone was glued back together from an earlier car accident and I was putting 600 watts rms into it's 150 watt rating.
The PPI amp went into protection mode when I was JAMMING
.Got home, the sub measured 0.2 ohms. DOH!!!
Replaced it with one of my Pioneer subs, kick ***, it is only getting 225 watts rms and the sound is louder and the bass goes much lower.
Now I wonder if I can get the other twenty-three 12" woofers I have into the Jimmy
b

I'm running a GAP 15 farad capacitor right next to the amps.
It will be awhile before I get to look at it, summer is flying by.
