Default Aux input adapter from pac audio

This is from pac audio's site. It lists models it will not work with. The 05 Corvette is not on the list so I'm assuming it will work. Anyone else seen this yet? I would really like to add an aux input on my C6. Sorry if it's a dupe.

See update below.

The AAI-GM24 is a standalone auxiliary input for most 2003-2005 GM vehicles. Unlike our AAI-GM12, the AAI-GM24 works with vehicles that do not come with factory XM, factory DVD or factory external CD changer. The AAI-GM24 will have two auxiliary inputs selectable by the headunit's button. Even works in most vehicles with the factory 6 disc in-dash head units. The AAI-GM24 aux input is the first in the industry to use the steering wheel or radio buttons to send out commands to PAC's optional SWI-X which can be used to control an MP3 player, DVD, VCP or most devices that use an infrared remote.

Note: The AAI-GM24 will not work for 2000-2003 TrailBlazer, Envoy or Bravada, 2003-2004 S10 and 2003-2005 SSR .

New Update! Version 2 of the AAI-GM24 works with vehicles that have both XM and a CD changer at the same time.
You don't say if you have the Nav or not. I made a few modifications to the PAC AAI-GM24 harness and got it installed about a week ago in my car with Nav. Here's the link: http://forums.corvetteforum.com/show...p?p=1551172269

Hears some related feedback:
The AAI-GM9 unfortunately will not work in the Corvettes. You will need to use the Aux-Box w/ AB-GM10 cable to input the audio from your MP3 player directly into the factory system.

Hello,

I would like to connect my Zen Micro MP3 player to my 2001 Corvette ZO6 factory Bose stereo. I do not have the factory CD changer. Which adapter is the correct unit?

I talked to CarToys here in Houston, but they recommended AUX-BOX + another adapter. Seems like overkill and too expensive.

The http://www.pac-audio.com/pac/7_PAC_b...x_Audio_Q5.pdf site sounds like I can just use the AAI-GM9.

Default Aux Input C6 W/O NAV

OK. Got the gm24 from pac audio. Installed per directions. Doesn't work. Called tech support and tried everything they suggested. No go. Has anyone succesfully installed a AAI-GM24 in a C6 w/o Nav. Please let me know.
