C4 Amp Location
I've finally gotten tired of the noise coming from the right rear speaker so I'm going to do something about it. Is the amp directly behind the speaker or at least someplace close? Also I'd like to verify it is the amp before I change it out so can I just swap the right and left rear speaker/amp combo quickly to check it or will it require solder joints etc.?

and the "brain" for it (at least in my 93 C4) was in the back storage compartment under the plastic tray.

If its Bose - all speakers are amplified - and this is just the Tuner for the radio ..
