how to watch dvd without ebrake on
is there a way to disable the wire that connects to the ebrake to watch dvds while driving? its not for me for the passenger on trips.

Not if it is an AVIC-N2 (from what I've heard).

its the pioneer AVH-P5700DVD model. its the one thats a level below the system with the navi., the 6700 or something like that.

Yeah its easy ...
Ground the E-Brake input wire .. (green one)
but only after youve disconnected it from the E-Brake..

the way I had is set up on my truck was when it was attached to the e brake there was enough play that before the brakes engaged and before the brake light would come on there was enough contact to turn on the screen

I think it has a built in gyro that lets the unit know when your moving.
