C6 NAV - How do you connect an amp?:confused:
I have the 1SB NAV and I'm confused on how to hook up an external amplifier to it. I have the LC6 line level adaptor which I believe is the key to this but all of the schematics I have found all indicate the they are low level outputs and the LC6 is looking for high level inputs. Can one of you smart folks help out. I'm not even sure where the amp is in the C6 (there is one isn't there?).

Ok - I traced down the AMP for the Nav unit. It is under the passenger foot rest along with the XM radio stuff. The AMP uses the "standard" 24 pin plug for the high level output (matches the 24 pin on the back of the NAV unit. The wires run up under the dash. Looks like the way to do this is to build a straight through M/FM 24 pin jumper harness and run that into the line level adaptor (LC6) and then to the AMP(s). Wish me luck!
