C5 carpeting where do you get it?
where do you get the carpet for the back hatch cover. i have a black C5 and would like to make all my amp racks and speaker box coverings all out the same carpet. Thanks everyone

Auto Custom Carpets
I'm building a subwoofer enclosure for my '01 coupe. When ordering from Auto Custom Carpets, should you order the carpet that has the latex backing or the polyethylene backing?

I found material at a local auto upholstery and supply shop. It took some looking and asking questions at auto interior shops, but they put me on to this shop and the material matches. I think that you can find it in most major metro areas, but it just takes looking.

I just got some carpet from accmats two days ago. I needed some for a stereo project I am working on. I was able to buy 1/2 yard of an exact match. They have great customer service!

There are two different types, Truvette and something else. The Truvette was an exact match for me. It is $35.00 per yard. The other stuff is cheaper. I bought 1/2 yard for my purposes, so $17.50 plus around $5-6 for shipping I think. Give them a call and they will send you some samples.
