Hey C6 Gurus...
I have the base system with a single CD. About 25% of the time when I start the car or turn the system on it doesn't come on right away. It take about a minute, sometimes longer and then it works fine. When it does this nothing works.

The radio should come on immediately. Sounds like this definitely needs to go to the dealer. It will take them about 30-60 minutes to replace the radio once they get one in stock (a few days if they don't have one already). Another problem could be in the power feed, which could be much more complicated. They might be able to diagnose this electronically. The dealer would probably replace the radio first to see if that fixed the problem.

I know if I have the radio in CD mode, with an MP3 CD-ROM installed, it takes a few seconds for the head unit to read in the data before it starts playing... could this be what you are experiencing?
