Switched power lead C5
Is there an easy way to tap into a switched power wire for my amp and XM modulator? The last thing I want to do is hack into the wrong place!

In the passenger foot well, you will need to remove the carpet and the cover to the PCM located under your feet. There will be a plug with 3 wires on it. One has switched, one has constant, one has ground. Look in your owners manual, it will also describe it. Tap into these wires. It will be a plug with 3 wires hanging off of it going to no where. Looks weird, but tahts what you want to use to tap into switched.

You can use the switched wire in the above post and it will work fine, that's how I originally had my Neo Jukebox power connected. The only problem is that when you turn off your car the radio will stay on with RAP until you open a door, but everything you have powered with the ignition wire will turn off. If you'd like for the aftermarket stuff to stay on you'll need to tap into the RAP wire. It doesn't seem like much, but it does get annoying after a while, especially when you know that you can have it all working properly.
