I have a 90 coupe with a bad bose system. Is there a radio that will fit back in the dash without carving up the dash? Is there like a dealer or such that will do a install.
Thanks Michael

Hi Mike:
Why don't you try what I did. I went to a car show, and found the area with all the Honda Civics with $10,000 worth of stereo equipment stuffed in them. I asked them who was the best in town and then went there. Don't try Circuit City or Best Buy. Around here they won't even touch a Bose system because of how different it is. They told me thry've tried in the past but couldn't get them to work.

Thanks for a great idea. There is a cruise in tonight not far from here and with it only 102 today it is way too hot to mow grass at the homesite. I did talk to Best Buy last week but the manager said he would not even look at a vette.
No problem Mike. I live in NW Arkansas, and it's hot here too. I went running yesterday, it was 97, and I quit after 7 miles. I then had to drink about 2 liters of fluids before I felt normal again. By the way, The guy I went to recommended a Clarion HU and Infinity speakers. The Clarion is nice because you can change the display color to match the rest of the dash. Good luck with yours.
with a little bit of DYI mentality someone with no skills and some patience can do a complete install themselves and save tons of money read up on the FAQ's and ask tons of questions, my self as well as others will be more then willing to help u out
