Cd - aux button on C6 radio

Cd - aux button on C6 radio
Does anyone know what that aux button is for?? I thought it would be for an optional CD changer - but I have the internal changer with XM.. what the heck is that aux button for??

You were so right in asking me to check the manual - so I did - here is what it says -
"If your system is equipped with a remote playback device, pressing this button a second time wil allow the remote device to play"
So - what is a remote device???

I tried to do a search and couldnt find the thread - is that the persons full screen name - speed.
Also did they do it in a C6 - I know the GM aux cable will work in the C5...??
