We just tried the AAI-GM24 (Version 2) in my C6. It did not work. It was doing something to the system that was preventing the amp from turning off. Ran the battery dead.
Took it out of the system and now things work fine again.
Am sending it back to PAC Audio who says it must be defective.
We will see what they say once they look at the unit.

Thanks and please keep me posted... So even that it didnt work - it didnt screw up your ECM or BCM computer/lock it up?
When are you suppose to be getting the other cable in?
I also tried the gm24 in my C6 w/o nav. Didn't work. I spent time on the phone to pac audio. Tried everthing they said including replacing with a new gm24. Still didn't work. As far as I know no one has got it to work on the non nav radio.

I really hate to hear that...... What are they going to do. My installer called and they said it worked - oh well...
i too just pulled out the GM24 aux plug. i had the version 2 with the teamspeed cable mod that was required to make it work. It worked perfectly until it ran my battery down dead. I dont know what the deal is but i am going to call PAC tomorrow and see what they can do.

Is there one out there (ipod to C6) that works with the NAV system? It's been a bit since I've been on the site and I'm out here looking again. Please let me know if there is an ipod to C6 hardwire for the NAV system.
i didnt get around to calling PAC but i think the directions were somewhat faulty. I think that we should be using a true accesory power source to power the PAC. I am going to try and use another circuit such as the heated seats which is a true accesory power source. i am going to use a product called "add-a-circuit" by littelfuse. It plugs into that fuse and provides an additional circuit. I am going to hold off before i try this because i am going to do it all when i add an amp and subwoofer sometime next week (when i have some free time) I will try and post some sort of guide to doing all this.

Lots of folks seem to be having trouble with using B3 as the switched power source or as a trigger. And full time power B1? (from memory) is not a good idea.
