Default Power problem - C2 -

Sounds great except when I hit the brakes, turn on turn signals, or depress the clutch - the power fades making the amp struggle and sound like crap.

I was wondering if a large capacitor would even out these low points and solve my problem. I've seen them on some people's alternator - Is this a possible fix?

I could be way way way wrong but it sounds like you may have some grounding issues, perhaps your ground cable under the hood from battery to frame and frame to engine etc, is gettin old and corroded which could deff cause power drop issues... someone else hopefully with more C2 experience should chime in, but i see this alot on cars especially early 90's ford explorers cables will even look decent sometimes and car wont start beacause its just so corroded at connections etc, replace ground cables for a buddy in his C3 starts quicker and idles smoother as well as less dimming

Ground issue. As mentioned I would start with your grounds, the positive to battery, the battery itself, and then alternator. What do you have for a system in the car?
