I installed my Pioneer Premier DEH-P860MP yesterday in my 02 Z06. I bought a wiring adapter which came with 2 plugs, one of which didn't fit my car, the plug had rcs cables on it. Is that plug for the factory amps, or the subs in the doors. The other 4 speakers play, I just don't have any bass anymore. The shop called around and could not find a different plug. I also ran the ACC wire to fuse 22 like the FAQ says but that is only for IGN and not ACC so now the radio only plays with the in the ON or with the car running.
are you using a bose interface? like the soundgate adapter? or is this just a wire harness? it sounds like you dont have a bose interface and that's why you wouldnt' be getting any bass
Just a wiring harness. It is really two harnesses but one will not plug in, so Im guessing thats for the bose. Do you have a model number for either of those?

IMO, do not spend money on an interface. Instead, spend the money on better speakers than the Bose. You can get a decent 6.5" componet set installed in the front doors for about $250. I'm not a fan of rear speakers but you can use the factory Bose rears off the HU without an interface.
I already have a 6.5 componet set, a premier flat 12 and amps for both. We are still working on my box and amp rack so I was just trying to find something to use for the next week or so till I got everything finished. Well it looks like I may have to work a little faster and finish everything this weekend, lol.

Well I almost have everything finished tonight. I just have to mount my amps and put in the sub. I have everything wired and the componet set installed. The sub box is going to take a little while so I am putting in a temp box while working on the final design. The worst part is the car being so low.
