Hey guys I finally finished my sub box and it took me all of about 4 months to get it done. Simply because I had other stuff going on and lack of time but here is a pic of the finished project. The sound is unbelievable. Now that it's done I'm glad that I dumped the Bose system.
LS1...do you have any other pictures of your amp rack? I will be starting mine this coming weekend (if the rest of the parts come in) and want to get some ideas. Looks great! Thanks.
maybe a small writeup on how you built that sub box or some more pics etc... looks awesome... no system in the vette only in the mustang so its prly not safe to post pics
Thanks guys for the compliments. I actually was given the plans on how to build the box from a fellow forum member awhile back. As for the panel, I made a new one out of pegboard and carpeted it so I wouldn't ruin the factory one. I'll try to take some pics tm and post them if I get out of work a little earlier. These 14 hour days are starting to wear thin already. BTW the sub is a RF stage 2 10" powered by the sony bridged amp. It's not the most high tech setup out there but its sooo much better than the blows. Def worth the time and effort.

If you have the time and want to put in the effort of building a sub box it's def way cheaper to do it yourself the box prolly cost me all of 25$ to put together plus my time. I ran the sub pretty hard the other day and the box held out fine.
