Stereo Install- 1985 C4 Vette
Well guys, I have found the pics of the 85 model stereo install I did 2 yrs. ago. Unfortunately, they are not the best quality, and non-digital, so I had to scan them in. I replaced the entire setup, did 2 Eclipse Aluminum Cone 10's in the wells.... (the box goes all the way down... the illusion of a small enclosure is actually grill cloth dyed to accent the amps, and highlight the inside of the box thru the plexi), an Eclipse head unit, Eclipse Point Source 5.25's in the doors, custom made 4x6's to fit in dash location (which actually is not a factory speaker location), no rear speakers, just pop off grilles for access to carpeted storage compartments 
, an Eclipse 4 channel amp, an Eclipse 1,000 watt class d amp (amps flush mounted in floor), distribution compartments cut in behind both seats with smoked plexi behind the distribution blocks, a custom waterfall made of fiberglass and covered in vinyl with plexi window, Dynamat everywhere, and the rear top still fits in the back.

Very nice, and I'm sure sounds even better, looks like the amps I ran my last system with, and a 12" Ti. Took up too much space. I decided to go with two 12" pioneer shallow mounts to clear up space. One question what's with the vintage Michael Jackson?

The vintage MJ was a test CD to set the stereo with... owner preferred that.... Currently, I am looking for the pics of the dash speakers and a better shot of the head unit... will also find the equipment list with model #'s... I post the pics on my photo gallery here then I will transfer them to this forum... Keep in touch!!
