i got some ketchup and mustard squeeze bottles (from the 99 cent store) and melted the abs chips in there (i used a jig saw to cut little piece of abs) let it sit for a day or two and you'll be good to go. The bottles are nice because they let you accurately place the sludge where it needs to go. also you can have two consistancies a thicker one that will dry quicker but have more air pockets, and a thinner one that will dry slower but have less pinholes. use the thick stuff on the back to fill bigger gaps. and the thin stuff on the front to fill the low spots.

make sure to over cut the bar like I showed in the c5 audio faq. it'll make your life a lot easier when it comes to sanding.

probably a lot less. the abs breaks down a lot. but; i think, the more abs you have in there the quicker it will break down. you can always leave the cap off for a few hours and let the acetone evaporate to thicken it up a bit. if you dont want to cut small chips you can always get a metal paint can (quart size) and use bigger pieces in that container then transfer the sludge to the plastic bottles.

i guess basically what i'm trying to say is that it's really hard to screw this up :-)

I'm not sure how much this helped but every now and again i'd go over and shake up the mixture to help the acetone dissolve the abs
