Planning ahead/stereo advice
I'll be removing the seats/carpeting in the near future for insulation installation. People have advised to plan ahead for possible stereo upgrade. While I don't have anything in mind right now, what are your suggestions for laying some wiring while the interior is out? What type wiring, where to terminate, etc. Almost forgot, I have an 04 vert.

Here are pictures of my install in my Z06. I don't have a wiring diagram of what I did. As for the wiring, I used all Stinger Electronics wiring. I have a Yellow Top with a Tsunami battery topper to monitor the voltage and to run the power and ground wiring to the 1.2 mf Stinger capacitor. The rest of my system is Sony headunit and monitor and Phoenix Gold amps and speakers. The box for the sub is by Subthump.com. Good luck with your install! Read the FAQ section here for great tips!

The wiring will depend on how many amps/speakers you run. I did the same thing, ran wiring after deadening. Some more pics for you are here .
