Ipod, Stock Amp Radio Problem
I would like to instal an IPOD to the system. I just found out that I do not have a stock wire running to the trunk for a CD changer. However, I found out that I have, what appears to be, a stock AMP in the trunk, sitting in the left side hole.
I do not have the two connectrs at the front right passenger seat (See photo). It looks like the amp is wired through those connenections.
So, I am now assuming, that the AUX space in the back is now taken up with the AMP. So, now I am in big trouble.
If I take the HU out and replace, What will happen to the AMP. I would have to replace the AMP too, b/c I am sure the amp is feeding the speakers???
ANY suggestions????
THanks

Once you find the 4-pin plug, those two plugs are where the COR-HAR cable plugs into. Then connect the GM10-Aux to the COR-HAR and you'll have RCA inputs to your stock HU.
You can run the cable under the trim/carpet to the back if you want to, but there is plenty of room above the passengers feet if you'd prefer to just tuck it up under the front dash, your choice.
I'm guessing that you have the selective ride control system in your car because the "amp" you found is actually the control system for it.
