I hope to install a new HU - Pioneer P7700 - with new pioneer 4 way speakers in the doors and rear. I have seen a few posts saying that there may be a problem with my 2002 electronics. Is this true or will the memory set and volume increase with speed simply not work???
Memory will not be a problem. The Pioneer HU will have two power leads. One (orange) is always will need power for the memory of the radio and the other (red) will hook into the ignition so the radio comes on/off with the car.
The volume compensate (with road noise, not speed) depends on your radio's features. My Pioneers have it and it is called ASL.
Best wishes
