Okay... I can't decide between some 4 channel amps. I'm getting rid of my ARC 2050 and Soundstream 302 for a 4 channel amp to run my sub and components. Why am I doing this!? Because... I'm bored. I really want at least 300 watts for my sub. Bridged 4ohm. I want something besides ARC Audio, Soundstream and JL Audio. Also, don't even mention Rockford. Other than that... I'm up for any brand. Right now... my top choice is Nakamichi PA2004. It would go with my Nakamichi CD400 quite well It doesn't have to be top dollar either..if you know an amp that performs well even though it's cheap...let me know!
i've been happy with my pg ti 500.4 and it's replacement an xtant 603x. the one downside is you'll have to get a 2 ohm sub to hit 300 watts.
The sub I have now is actually dual 4ohm so that wouldn't be a problem, but I bought something different and it's single 4ohm. I want to try my new sub..
I don't have any problem with JL. I've used amps and subs many times, but just thought about going with a different brand. I remember my first JL sub I bought 12w5. This was back in 1994 or something.. I loved that sub
The W5 series...JL's first "competion" subwoofer. I had four 15W5's in my 91 Eagle Talon TsiAWD. They were awesome but were stolen last year
Im not sure why you would not repurchase JL, Soundstream, or Arc Audio Try Xtant and the Nak you mentioned will probably be great too. Price won't be cheap though

Yeah.. I remember I paid around $280.00 for the 12w5. Had a autotek amp pushing it. 22x2 But, it pounded. I forgot what model autotek. It claimed stability down to a quarter ohm. Wish I still had it
I just thought it would be fun to buy a brand I've never bought before. That's really my only reason.
I have Elemental Designs gear in my car and highly recommend it http://www.edesignaudio.com/wire.php. You can also review thier stuff at pasmag.com. Good luck with whatever you choose.
