I'm using the PAC OEM VET interface with the stock radio.
Here's the question:
The PAC will give me stereo signals to run to the amp, but I plan on running only one of the amp channels to the sub, and running the VC's in parallel. This will give me ~ 300watts. The amp will not sum the signals, becuase I'm not running a bridged mode (would be 600 watts, too much power).
So I'm concerned that I will be using only one of the channels of audio to power the sub, and will have missing bass signals.
Should I sum the signals before the amp?
Will the signals from the PAC be essentially mono for the low bass?
OK, so I decided to run the amp in bridged mode, and run the sub VC's in series. This way the amp sums the signals, and I still get 300W into 8 ohms. Amp works much less harder. Solved.
