C6: JL Stealthbox install pics
The good news is I can still use my Lloyds mat. Nice quality piece. Fiberglass and plastic. They put a little polyfill in the bottom. Fits like a glove and sounds very good for a mid-level JL sub. I'm running it from a PPI 1000.4 amp. Sub is getting 500 watts and sounds quite nice. Not quite as low as I would like, but it may get better after it breaks in a bit.

Does look good. Isn't 500w too much for that sub?

Looks great! I like how it tucks away into the sidewell.
Does your enclosure have the correct cubic inches for that sub?
That will make all the difference in SQ.
The way it tapers off quickly behind the sub could also affect response and decay enough to muddy up the sound.
How do you like the newer PPI's? I'm using the older school ones (late 90's) and they rock!

I'm not a huge fan of JL subs, but this one gets the job done in this enclosure.
I love the newer PPI amps, they still rock.
I can't say enough good things about them.

I'm running DLS Iridium 8.2 components in the doors, a 3.5" Boston center channel and no rear fill. The comps and subs run from the PPI and the center channel runs from the HU. Alpine 9835.

If you buy make sure you get it from an authorized JL dealer or you wont get the warranty.
