Been looking into Cadence for my sub (Z-1500) suppose to be their upper eschelon....
I have their sub and am happy with it so far, but need to get more power to it as it's rated at 600rms.
Has anyone used their newer amps, I know they make some budget stuff I wouldn't touch with a 10" fiberglas pole.

i'm confused; this has nothing to do with your question though , you have an avic n1 and an eclipse 8053?
Yeah. The pre amp section in the Avic sssssucks! It has a single 1 bit DAC and only 2volt pre outs
I should've done my homework before I bought it. I could've gone with the Eclipse Navi, that has 24 bit DAC.
So I use the Avic for navi and DVD's.
I use the Eclipse for the real tunes. It has 24 bit DAC and a line driver that cleanly boosts to 16V on the pre outs
Well, 8-10 volts cleanly, more like it. But the SQ is worlds apart from anything out there that is STILL single bit tech.
I'm awaiting an audition on MacIntosh amp 4x100 and a Mac HU.
That should be sweet.
