ticking sound with FM

ticking sound with FM
I have a modded C5 that I have a constant ticking sound coming fromt he speakers on when I have the FM on. The CD sounds clear as a bell. I brought it to the local sound guy and he had it aprt for four hours and could not find anything. He swapped the radio out but still had the same tick..tick...tick noise. He thought I should bring it to a shop and see if I have any plugs or plug wires bad????? I have headers and stage 1 Cam package. Any ideas........I am going crazy!!!!!!!!

i had my starter replaced, alternator rebuilt, and a new battery installed. The starter was the last thing that was FRIED. Is there a ground that may not be attached? Not very mechanical so be easy on me.

I would check the main grounds (battery/chassis) and make sure those are tight. I believe in the FAQ there is a link showing pictures of where they are located exactly.
I will ask my bro when I get home what he thinks would cause it he is more mechanical than I am.
