What needs to be done to convert files from MP3 format to play in C5 cd player?
I want to take a bunch of mp3's and convert into "mix" discs but not sure if there are other steps.
thanks.
You can use a program like Goldwave to convert your MP3 files to WAV files. Then you can burn the WAV files to an audio CD.
WinAMP used to also have a way to create WAV files using a WaveOut output filter, but I'm not using a recent version so I'm not sure it is supported anymore. Also, some CD creation software may have an option to convert and burn MP3 files directly to audio CDs without the need to convert the files yourself.
I have found that on some CD players it helps to burn the CD at x1 instead of the max burn speed. Most new CD players seem to play
CD-R 's fine, but with the older ones, burning at x1 does seem to help.
