I am torn between the bottom of the a-pillar pointing up towards the windshield or the door pulls. i think the a-pillar would be easier. doesn anyone have any how-tos with pics of how to mount the tweeters in the door pulls?
They are CDT CL-61A Components. I built a custom door mount for the speakers, and mounted the tweeters above them, but the way i positioned them, i think the door skin is blocking them. So the door mount is a better idea you say???? Would you happen to know of a guide with pictures of how to mount them in there?

I put mine in the door pulls. The CDT's actually swivel a litle in the cups so I could point them a bit forward.
The tweeters were really easy to mount in the door pulls, all you need is a drill bit the same size as your tweeter and a dremel to trim off a bit of plastic on the back side.
I had my pillar off to run my V1 and what I remember there isn't much room between the two!
I have tweeters in my door pulls and stage fronts in my pillars, there is room at the bottom of the pillar. Mounting in the pillar was not a problem, I would say easier than in the door pull for me.
