I have just aquired a 1995 C4 (my first 'vette), and I'm totally digging it. Everything is stock, but there is one thing I want to add... a Sirius plug'n'play radio. I was wondering if anyone has any pictures of their installs (and brackets/ mounts used) on the dash (or wherever mounted), just so I have an idea of what others did.

When I installed my XM radio in my 89, I just used the super sticky double-side tape they provided and stuck it on the edge of the dash bezel to the right of the radio. In that location, I can just drop the power cord down a couple inches right into the cigarette lighter.
I imagine it'll be a real beotch to take off if I ever need to, so I won't worry about that until the time comes.

I'll snap a few pictures tonight if I can.
I have the lexan top, so I used the suction cup mounts, flipped it upside-down, and mounted it to the roof. The display sits right above the rearview mirror and the cords run through he winshield crossmember and down the A-pillar.
I have a Sirius JVC unit in my vette... I will be putting the S50 Sirius unit in once i get it replaced. I use one of those Cassette adapters to play it over the radio and the antenna is mounted outside on the hailo. I fashioned a mount that fits in a cup holder and this is what I used.
I used a PVC end cap dremeld the top of the cap so i could fit the windshild mound arm in it and i screwed it down. Then I made a Vinyl (leather like) bood to go around the kit to make it look neat and tidy and i ran all the wires inside the boot.

I had thought of using one of the cup holders to use in mounting the radio (I have the Sportster), but having the 6 speed; I believed everytime I would shift into reverse I would be "bumping" into the radio. If there is one thing that I don't like about the interior of the 95 vette, it's the placement of the cupholders.
If anyone else has any pics of their installs, I would love to take a look to get some more ideas.
Great idea's..... How about antenna placement? The only thing I can think of is gluing velcro tape and I just hate the idea of gluing anything to my car.
There are a lot of things you can do, but you may what to start thinking of replacing the whole f****ing Bose "stereo". If you do, just buy a HU that can use Sirius!! Your may have to buy an adapttor, but its only MONEY (less that $100.00) ... You can replace the HU, speakers and buy an new Siriurs compontent for maybe $500.00 bucks. I know thats not much to the people on this fourm, but it will sound GREAT!!
P.S. If you do, don't forget to get a mounting bracket from VRUM VRUM
