Cassette adapter for iPod problems...
I haven't decided whether I want to pony up and buy an iPod2Car kit yet, so in the mean time I'm using a Belkin tape adapter. It's been working great since I bought it but lately the tape deck has been spitting it out with a "CLN" message on the lcd screen. I'm assuming the player thinks it's time for a cleaning, but how can I do this? My Vette is a 99. Thanks!

I got an iPod for christmas and really enjoy it. I bought a Belkin adapter and it only lasted a few weeks before the deck spit it out. Rather than get another Belkin I bought the Sony unit which is about the same price. It sounds better, makes no mechanical noise in the player and hasn't caused me any problems over the past 2 months. My recommendation, ditch the Belkin and try the Sony.
